Our Sustainable Vision

“To travel is to live” – Hans Christian Anderson.

Travel builds human connections by learning about culture, food, new sites, music, religion, and the way people live their day to day lives in various parts of the world. It is the best on-site learning a person can get. The internet can only explain so much about a place or another person.

At Navarino we recognise and facilitate the power to travel, we remain conscience of this facilitation and we support social and environmental initiatives and decisions that do more than think about how to make a profit. At Navarino our goal is to do our best for our clients and the world we live in. We look to improve and protect this exceptional world we are lucky to inhabit and travel amongst.

We work together responsibly, respectfully, with-in Navarino and with our clients and partners. We believe treating every-one fairly and equally as we look for ways to decrease our reliance’s on our carbon footprint, increase our reuses, our recycling efforts, reduce any over-consumption, increase our diversity with-in the company where we can and continue to look for further decentralization opportunities amongst other targets under review.

The company in 2021 introduced a flexi-office-home working rota, head office days being Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Data Protection

Navarino PCI compliant and in addition is targeting its completion of the Cyber Essentials Plus certification by September 2022. The company is committed to the IASME Gold certification for December 2022. The UK Government sponsored Cyber Essentials Plus Program core function is to protect the devices we all use (smartphones, laptops, tablets, and computers), and the services we access, both online and at work, from theft or damage. It is also about preventing unauthorised access to the significant amounts of information we store on these devices, and online. This is important because smartphones, computers and the internet are now such an integral part of modern life, that it is difficult to imagine how we would function without them. From online banking and shopping, to email and social media, it is more important than ever to take steps that can prevent cyber criminals accessing our accounts, data, and devices. Navarino as an SME is committed to certifying itself to the highest standards in this area of recognition by the UK Government and other international institutions.

The company is targeting its IASME Gold certification for December 2022.
